Doc's Detecting Supplies
Finally some relief from the heat. Looking forward to some serious prospecting this fall winter and spring.

I've got a new two seater UTV that I have not even got to use yet. I'm chomping at the bit. I have a lot of YouTube content that I have to get recorded. All the new products I have promised have landed Sept 13th in California and is sitting there waiting for Customs to clear the merchandise and get it to me. Very frustrating.

Be careful out there and have fun,

Doc

Looking forward to seeing your videos, it's been a long time since you've done one. Finally got that cover put on the Axiom and went out and grabbed my first Axiom nugget, your cover brought me luck it appears. Will post a write up in the next few days..... the little ball cap visor's a cute touch, wow does this thing fit like a glove.... OJ Simpson would be proud of you Doc.

PS: If you plan to swing the big 16" coil on the Ax, get some backup quicklock/camlocks... my top one snapped within 5 minutes, too much weight, heard a loud CRACK and the rest is history, snapped right below the hex screw head on it. I emailed Garrett about a replacement and am using cable ties for now... I'm not sure if you've taken yours out yet but I love this thing.

I’ve been digging settling ponds for the trommel, this calicci is a pain, glad I bought a ripper for the backhoe.

The two velcro cable ties were a nice treat, thank you.. I'm always looking for those.

What did you get, a Razor? Show us pics please…. Does that mean you’re getting back into the swing of things again, good.
Jen

Wow Jen, that nugget is a beauty. What did you name it? Or dare I ask? The Tea Pot? The Cannon? The Viagra Nugget? (Lord I'm sorry about that last one there, please forgive me and bless all them starving Pygmies down there in New Guinea.)

Thank you for taking pictures of the new cover. I am very proud of the way it turned out and I know I'm biased but I think it really looks cool.

It’s your usual top quality, I’ll do a write up shortly, took a few photos…. It’s pretty amazing quality that’s for sure.

Have you had your Ax out yet?

I haven't been anywhere or done anything. I had cataract surgery and two times they made my glasses wrong and I am still waiting for them to get the glasses to me made correctly.

excuses excuses, last time it was a hole in your head that was leaving brains all over the place you went like snail trails, and your arm...then other areas we won't say publicly. LOL.... ya don't hear high low with you eyes, and now that Di can drive the two seater, ya have no excuses. :)

Give it a chance, I know you'll love it... you're right, our 7's will always be king and will stay in our collection but this Axiom is pretty incredible, it's exactly what the 6000 should have been but wasn't.

I got a Tracker I have had good luck with the other 2 Artic Cats I owned.

As a birthday present my son took it and brought it back with a roof. Really bright forward and backup LED lighting, turn signals. A really high end AM FM radio and great speakers, mirrors, everything to make it street legal. Over $900 worth of goodies.

I love it. I just have to commit to getting my butt out into the field.

Doc, do you think you will be able to fit the gold nugget in that small tray in the back? It looks too small.

Regards Axtyr.

If you ever get over here to Vegas, go out with @Doc for a swing, he's a bloody gold vacuum.... your comment is spot on.

All the things you need as you're stuck in a wash somewhere, 100 miles from the truck, saying to yourself, I probably should have bought a winch as well. LOL

Ha, I should live so long. I think I might even be able to fit two. Actually I have a nice tote to put in there that has a cooler inside. I can carry extra goodies, headphones. a tarp, survival gear. etc.

Oh yeah he put a winch on it too. He didn't forget anything. He is a maniac when it comes to outfitting things. He is a gun collector. And he also builds guns from scratch. He loves that stuff. He went to a week long seminar and workshop where they actually built their own AR15. And not just putting parts together. EVERYTHING was done from scratch. The wood was all machined down by hand, the metal was all machined, and/or stamped. I think he actually had to get a tax stamp or something like that because he could not take it home, as it was a homemade gun. He had to get the tax stamp first before the weapon was released to him. He's a very smart man. He's an extremely successful dentist so he has a couple of extra bucks to spend on his hobbies.

That winch came in handy we had a big dead Palm tree in the front and I just hooked that winch up and pulled that sucker right out of there. Along with half of the irrigation lines but that's another story.
